We have a great internal opportunity available to join Novus, our prison education provider at HMP Frankland, working as an Industrial Cleaning Teacher. This role is offered on a permanent, part-time basis, working 18.5 hours per week. Who are Novus? Site Information HMP Frankland is a Category A men's prison located in the village of Brasside in County Durham, England. Frankland is operated by His Majesty's Prison Service, and is located next to HM Prison Low Newton, a closed women's prison. Though traditionally holding men serving more than four years, since 2005 Frankland has also taken category A remand prisoners. In 2019, it was designated as a prison with a training function.

Requirements
Hold a teaching qualification and where applicable, relevant subject specialist qualification - with a commitment to obtain the outstanding qualification within 12 months
Hold a Level 2 qualification in Literacy and Numeracy
Have experience in creating stimulating, vibrant environments which are conducive to learning and motivational for learners
Have previous track record showing achievement of quality targets
Have successfully produced accurate and timely reports
Demonstrate effective interpersonal and communication skills
Can motivate and enthuse learners
Have organisational skills to prioritise workload to meet deadlines and targets
Demonstrate positive team working
