Job Description:

We are urgently seeking an experienced Industrial Sewer for a short-term contract with a leading industrial manufacturer. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with heavy-duty industrial sewing and is available for an immediate start. Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM (Day Shift). Must have a vehicle to due location. Short term contract - (month - two months).

Job Responsibility:

  • Operate industrial sewing machines (hand-operated) to manufacture heavy-duty, thick insulation blankets
  • Focus exclusively on the sewing process, as other fabrication steps (like stuffing) are handled by a separate team
  • Produce insulation wraps and components specifically designed for food processing and oil/gas plant applications
  • Ensure all fabricated items meet precise technical specifications and quality standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in industrial sewing is required
  • Must be comfortable operating industrial sewing machines with the hand and working with thick, heavy-duty blanket materials
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Must successfully pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test and a Background Check (BC)
  • Experience in manufacturing or fabrication is considered an asset
