Job Description:

We are looking for experience machine operators specifically with Batching experience for a well known company in Guelph ! This is a excellent long term opportunity with a lot of room for internal growth. In order to be considered for this role you would need to have a minimum of 3 years experience as a machine operator. ... This is a great opportunity that we anticipate will fill very quickly so if you are interested in the role and meet the required qualifications we would be happy to discuss this role further.

Job Responsibility:

  • Cleaning containers, general mixing area, mixers and filling stations for production batches
  • Disposing of cabin powder
  • General cleaning and housekeeping of your area at all times
  • Preparing batches by weighing and adding the ingredients to the container according to the mix sheet
  • Familiarity with source identification numbers and product descriptions used in batch making to ensure proper materials are being used to make batch corrections as required
  • Proper operation and interpretation of all scales used in batch weighing

Requirements:

  • Machine operator experience (Minimum 3 years) required
  • Batching experience considered an asset
  • Able to lift 40+ pounds
  • Strong mathematic skills
  • Familiarity with source identification numbers and product descriptions used in batch making to ensure proper materials are being used to make batch corrections as required
  • Operating the tow motor and lift truck
  • Proper operation and interpretation of all scales used in batch weighing
  • Experience operating a forklift considered an asset
