Job Description

Lead hands-on training that builds both skill and confidence across our Automation and Operational Technology (OT) teams. From classroom instruction to lab-based simulations and real-world applications, you’ll design and deliver impactful learning experiences that prepare our teams for success—on the job and beyond. You'll also play a key role in developing our next generation of talent through our Registered Apprenticeship programs for Applications Programmers and OT Technicians.

Job Responsibility

  • Develop and deliver technical training programs across industrial automation, controls, OT, and networked systems
  • Create engaging instructional content, including course outlines, lab activities, and training aids
  • Deliver training through various methods—classroom, hands-on labs, e-learning, and real-world scenarios
  • Support apprenticeship and certification programs, ensuring content aligns with evolving industry and customer needs
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve curriculum and delivery methods
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of vendor certifications and ensure compliance with accreditation standards
  • Identify new training opportunities and support ongoing learning through conferences, workshops, and industry engagement

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree (A. A.) from two-year college with relative background in Industrial Automation, Operational Technology, or Instrumentation is highly preferred
  • 3-5 years’ field experience in Industrial Automation and/or Operational Technology along with experience in training/educating adults and/or employee development is highly preferred
  • excellent public speaking ability and an ease in moderating small and large groups
