Job Description:

This part-residential specialist school is dedicated to removing barriers to education and supporting students with SEN and complex needs. As a through school, it provides education from early years to college, making it one of the largest and most sought-after schools in the county. With over 15 years of excellence and five consecutive Ofsted Outstanding ratings, it is a beacon of inclusive education. We are looking for a passionate Individual Needs Assistant to support learners 1:1 and in small groups. You'll be joining a fun, dynamic team with exceptional leadership backing you every step of the way.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting learners on a 1:1, small group and whole class basis
Supporting the educational and general well being of SEN learners
Promoting, encouraging and creating a fun and engaging learning environment

Requirements:

Relevant childcare, teaching assistant or care experience (Must be able to provide references)
Eligibility to work in the UK
Experience supporting children or adults with SEN needs (desirable)
Calm, nurturing and resilient individual
GCSE Maths and English or equivalent

Nice to have:

Experience supporting children or adults with SEN needs
