We’re looking for an Indirect Tax Manager to lead and strengthen myPOS’ VAT and other indirect tax processes across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll be a key partner to Finance, Product, Legal, and Operations - ensuring compliance, improving controls, and advising on indirect tax implications as the business scales.
Job Responsibility:
Own indirect tax compliance (VAT) across relevant jurisdictions, supporting registrations, filings, reconciliations and reporting
Provide day-to-day VAT advisory support to Finance, Operations, and commercial teams (e.g., invoicing flows, fees, cross-border transactions, and new products)
Lead indirect tax matters related to new markets, product launches, and operational changes-assessing risks and proposing solutions
Manage and improve VAT processes and internal controls, including documentation, policies, and audit readiness
Support tax audits and inquiries
coordinate responses with internal stakeholders and external advisors
Partner with Accounting on VAT reporting accuracy, month-end close topics, and balance sheet reconciliations
Monitor legislative changes and assess impact
provide practical guidance and implementation plans
Drive automation and efficiency improvements (e.g., ERP/tax engine enhancements, data quality, reporting dashboards)
Manage external consultants, authorities communications (where applicable), and support transfer of knowledge across teams
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in indirect tax/VAT (in-house, consulting, or a mix), ideally in a multi-country environment
Strong knowledge of EU VAT rules
Experience with cross-border services and digital/financial services is an advantage
Experience managing VAT compliance cycles end-to-end, including reconciliations and controls
Ability to translate technical tax requirements into operational processes
Comfortable working with large datasets
Strong Excel skills
Fluent English
Additional European language is a plus
