Job Description:

BAE Systems, Combat Mission Systems is actively seeking an experience Supply Chain Profession to join the Indirect Procurement Organization. As a Procurement Analyst Senior, you will procure specialized materials, equipment, supplies and services based on program specific requirements and specifications, in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Job Responsibility:

  • Procure specialized materials, equipment, supplies and services based on program specific requirements and specifications
  • Responsible for the complete acquisition lifecycle: analyze purchase requisitions, initiate RFQs/RFPs, review bids, select vendors, negotiate terms and conditions, and pricing of materials or services to be procured and issue/manage subsequent purchase orders
  • Develop, support and execute sourcing strategies, to include development of savings
  • Develop new and manage existing supplier relationships
  • Lead formal negotiations
  • Execute Long Term Agreements/Blanket Agreement
  • Coordinate with Accounts Payable to resolve invoices/payment issues to ensure prompt payment and avoid delays
  • Coordinate with Receiving departments to resolve receipt issues
  • Maintain communication with suppliers during course of procurement process
  • Work closely with management and Procurement personnel, as well as cross-functionally with other departments
  • Ability to prepare reports and documentation
  • Ability to perform effectively and independently
