Job Responsibility

  • Overall responsible for procurement execution, including PR/PO process, vendor management, data analysis
  • Work together with central and local team to secure implementation of global policies
  • Work on various spend categories, aiming to find better deals and more profitable suppliers
  • Support stakeholders' daily purchase requirements and focus on high spend with RFI,RFQ, sourcing and price comparison
  • Handle system issues like PO issue, maintain preferred supplier list and blacklist
  • Partner with stakeholders to ensure purchasing policy and process is implemented and followed
  • Reviews purchase orders, selective audit
  • Evaluates vendors based on quality, timeliness, and price
  • Perform Supplier Due diligence check
  • Regular analysis of purchase data to find out deviation and cause
  • Researches and evaluates vendors to compare pricing and services
  • Perform cost and scenario analysis, and benchmarking
  • Seek and partner with reliable vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain preferred supplier list and black list
  • Timely periodic review of existing Vendors
  • Travels to vendor locations
  • Keeps up with trends in procurement
  • Works together with central and local team to secure synergies and global policies implementation

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Logistics or related discipline
  • 5-10 years of relevant experience in indirect procurement
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Solid experience in sourcing in categories of real estate, capex and marketing
  • Good knowledge and practices in information systems, such as ERP, SharePoint, Office 365, Supplier management systems
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and result oriented
  • Demonstrate strong interpersonal, influencing and communication skills, able to manage and work efficiently with various levels of people in matrix organization with diversified culture
  • Demonstrate ability to think strategically, tactically and operationally
  • Strong analytical and negotiation skills
  • Able to inspire, engage and drive new ideas and innovation
  • Fluent English and good communication in both Chinese and English
