Requirements

Bachelor's degree in business, procurement, or a related field
8+ years of experience in procurement, ideally within the FMCG industry
Proven experience in indirect sourcing, preferably with exposure to Marketing and Sales categories (Media, Creative, Market Research, etc.)
Strong negotiation and contract management skills
Experience with supplier relationship management (SRM)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Fluency in Japanese and English
Strong stakeholder management skills
Experience in a global organization preferred
Knowledge of e-procurement tools is a plus

Job Responsibility

Lead the development and execution of the annual sourcing plan for Japan's Marketing and Sales category
Collaborate with regional and global sourcing teams to align local strategies with broader objectives
Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with key suppliers (Agencies and Media owners) to secure optimal pricing and service levels
Conduct thorough spend analysis to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve processes
Develop and implement a robust supplier relationship management strategy
Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including Marketing and Sales directors and senior management
Develop and implement a continuous improvement action plan
Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, systems, and controls
