Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing procurement team to achieve targeted outcomes and drive success
Oversee the timely delivery of projects, ensuring alignment with defined category strategies and organizational objectives
Cultivate a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team
Provide guidance and support for the implementation of new tools and technologies to enhance procurement efficiency

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, align priorities, and address procurement challenges
Build and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring mutual benefits and strategic partnerships
Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure procurement team success
Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on procurement activities, savings achieved, and market trends
Stay updated on industry trends, emerging markets, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management
Encourage the adoption of innovative tools, technologies, and processes to optimize procurement functions
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university
Minimum 10 - 12 years of experience in a similar role and minimum 15 – 20 years of experience in Procurement
MCIPS/CIPS/APICS-CSCP are preferred
Experience in a large Indirect Procurement organization dealing with multiple sourcing activities covering indirect categories, including and not limited to Marketing, Human Capital, Technology, Consultancy, and others
Extensive experience in managing and coaching large teams, ensuring exceptional performance aligned with best-in-class standards, full compliance with organizational policies, and the delivery of outstanding customer experiences
Experience in Procurement within "Shared Services" and a matrix reporting structure is a must to provide oversight for all procurement RFX processes for the smooth delivery of shared service operations to procurement category managers
Experience in spend analysis and strategy development
In-depth understanding and practice of Best-in-class procurement processes, systems, and practices
Knowledge of contract terms and conditions, and the country's laws and regulations
Must be capable of assessing legal and business risk when making decisions concerning contractual commitments
Customer-focused & takes time to understand the needs of the business, partnering, influencing, and negotiation skills
Experience in using E-sourcing platforms and ERPs, preferably ORACLE, ARIBA, and COUPA
