Job Description

The Indexing Assistant role provides administrative support to the indexing department, working on projects that intersect with various stages of the publishing workflow. This is an in-office role based in our Manchester city centre office.

Job Responsibility

  • Handling the running and maintenance of the Reviewer Recognition Service platform, including reviewing recognition requests received from external reviewers, handling editors or board members
  • Extracting data from internal or external databases and basic analysis following SOPs
  • Administrative tasks related to the internal ticketing system
  • Contributions to diverse projects (on demand)

Requirements

  • Able to commit to 2 days a week of in-office work
  • Currently enrolled in a university or higher education institution
