Job Description

As an Independently Licensed Therapist at Ellie Mental Health, you’ll share our vision for improving access to quality mental health care while working in a culture grounded in authenticity, humor, compassion, creativity, acceptance, and determination. Job Responsibility

  • Complete diagnostic assessments, diagnoses, treatment planning, and ongoing clinical documentation (annual updates, treatment reviews, progress notes)
  • Maintain a minimum caseload of 30 scheduled sessions and 25 completed client visits weekly
  • Serve as primary point of contact for clients
  • Collaborate with team members to improve access to care in our community
  • Use creative interventions to support client goals
  • Coordinate care with families, schools, medical providers, and other professionals as needed
  • Attend staff meetings, trainings, and team activities

Requirements

  • Active Idaho independent license (LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW)
  • Minimum 3+ years post-licensure clinical experience
  • Strong communication, professionalism, and leadership presence
  • Comfortable with technology and EHR systems (Valant experience preferred)
  • Experience managing documentation and client financial conversations
  • Ability to pass a background check

Nice to have

  • Credentialed with major insurance panels and/or bringing an established caseload
  • Experience working across diverse populations and age groups
  • Dual licensure in Idaho and Washington preferred
