Job Description

We currently have 2 positions open for a therapist to work with children (7+), teens, and families. Individual therapy with young adults and adults will also make up a portion of your caseload. One position is located in our beautiful Southpark office and the other in our thriving Blakeney location. Job Responsibility

  • Conduct intakes/initial assessments and provide ongoing therapy to kids (7+), teens, and families as well as adults
  • Maintain a caseload of a minimum of 27 client visits per week
  • Maintain appropriate clinical documentation, including treatment plans
  • Work with billing dept to maintain clean accounts for clients
  • Coordinate services with case managers, other providers, and school staff as needed
  • Provide exceptional customer service for clients
  • Attend and participate in all staff meetings and mandatory trainings
  • Assist with selection and onboarding of new therapists
  • Show up in our community
  • Engage in networking/social, outreach, and community-based events to reduce mental health stigma and promote Ellie in the Charlotte community
  • Be excellent to each other
  • Play a critical role in maintaining a peaceful & happy work environment

Requirements

  • Candidates must be independently licensed as a LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT in the state of NC
  • Clinicians with supervisory credentials are strongly encouraged to apply
  • Out of state candidates must be within 30 days of receiving reciprocity in NC
  • Demonstrable experience in working with children (7+), teens, and families
  • Experience with assessments, treatment plans, and clinical documentation
  • Comfort and familiarity working with a diverse client base
  • Proficiency with using EHR's
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to demonstrate adaptability and solution-oriented thinking
  • Ability to work independently

Nice to have

  • Basic knowledge of insurance billing
  • Knowledge of community resources and willingness to learn about and engage with Ellie's preferred providers
  • Proficient in the use of Office 365
  • Current or previous credentialing with insurance panels
  • Therapists with LGBTQIA+ and/or First Responder/Veteran experience
