Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Independent Testing Specialist to participate in the development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities companywide in alignment with the risk management framework. The role involves ensuring effective testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies within Independent Testing.

Job Responsibility:

Participate in less complex development and design of methodologies and standards for review activities companywide in alignment with the risk management framework
Ensure effective and appropriate testing, validation, and documentation of review activities for risk programs, risks, and controls according to standards and other applicable policies within Independent Testing
Support and implement less complex initiatives with low to moderate risk and exercise independent judgment to guide risk reporting, escalation, and resolution
Present recommendations for resolving more complex situations and exercise independent judgment while developing expertise in risk management framework and the risk and control environment
Collaborate and consult with colleagues, internal partners and management

Requirements:

2+ years of Independent Testing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
2+ years of experience in Risk & Compliance, Quality Assurance or Banking experience plus, hands on experience on SharePoint management, data analysis and reporting
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy, and ability to draw conclusions and translate findings from complex data
Experience gathering, analyzing and interpreting large datasets
Ability to execute in a fast paced, high demand environment while prioritizing work and balancing multiple priorities
Advanced Microsoft Office skills (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, LiveMeeting and SharePoint)
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organization levels, where flexibility, collaboration and adaptability are important
Ability to exercise independent judgement and creative problem solving techniques
Experience and knowledge of Risk Management Programs
Experience with Tableau & Power BI and other visualization tools, with the ability to incorporate a visual data story into an actionable narrative for executive audience
Ability to review and develop work plans and effectively summarize results
