Job Description:

Are you an Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist looking for a rewarding locum role in Liverpool? We have an exciting opportunity with great pay and flexibility! Join our team as an IP Pharmacist within a GP surgery setting and play a key role in supporting patients with long-term conditions and minor ailments. This role is full-time, onsite and offers an hourly rate of £35–£45.

Job Responsibility:

  • assess, prescribe and manage patients with hypertension and minor ailments
  • conduct comprehensive medication reviews and optimise prescribing
  • work autonomously while supporting GPs and the wider MDT
  • deliver evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes
  • maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records

Requirements:

  • current registration with the GPhC as a Pharmacist
  • independent prescribing qualification
  • prior experience working in a GP surgery or primary care setting
  • strong clinical knowledge in hypertension and minor ailments management
  • excellent communication skills and ability to work within an MDT
