Job Description:

Hunter AHP are seeking an experienced Locum Independent Prescriber Pharmacist to join a GP surgery in Surrey. Role involves medication reviews, patient-facing clinics, prescribing/deprescribing, and collaboration with clinical teams.

Job Responsibility:

Conduct medication reviews (structured & clinical)
Manage repeat prescribing and medicines optimisation
Provide patient-facing clinics (e.g., long-term condition management, minor ailments)
Undertake prescribing and deprescribing where appropriate
Deliver medicines information and advice to patients and clinicians
Support chronic disease management in line with surgery protocols
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, effective prescribing

Requirements:

Must hold Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification
Prior GP surgery / primary care experience highly desirable
Strong clinical knowledge and confident decision-making skills
