Job Description:

We’re looking for a dedicated Independent Living Partner to join our team in Bracknell, supporting customers across the Bracknell and Windsor area. You’ll play a key part in delivering housing management services within our Independent Living schemes for older people.

Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver housing management functions for designated schemes/properties
  • Support customers with welfare contact and make referrals to internal and external services where needed
  • Manage the social alarm system and complete compliance checks
  • Build resident involvement and encourage community activities
  • Being the first point of contact for tenancy and leasehold queries, ensuring compliance and health & safety checks, and fostering strong community engagement
  • Provide cover across multiple schemes and occasionally across our wider Independent Living geography
  • Participation in emergency response for critical out-of-hours situations

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills and a flexible approach
  • A strong understanding of the needs of older people and a commitment to promoting independence
  • Knowledge of housing-related issues and experience in tenancy management
  • Confidence in using IT systems
  • Ability to work independently (this is a lone working role)
  • A full driving license and access to a car is required
