Job Description:

Independent Living Officer - 12 Months FTC (Internal Only). 1 x Fixed-Term (Internal Only) position working Full-time hours available with a competitive pay and benefits package including a starting salary of £27,332 a year, rising to £29,805 per year after key competencies of the role are met. Tai Tarian is growing, and we are looking for a self-motivated, resilient Independent Living Officer to join us. You'll be joining our team at a pivotal moment as this is without out doubt, a challenging time for the housing sector. To be successful in the role, you will need to be a positive, enthusiastic person who wants to make a difference to peoples lives.

Job Responsibility:

  • Work in partnership with tenants and outside agencies to develop and sustain independent active communities throughout our over 55’s properties
  • Work with contract holders to maintain their agreements within guidelines, processes and procedures
  • Engage with external stakeholders
  • Achieve our key Housing objective of great Service Delivery Standards by meeting the set measures of success

Requirements:

  • Educated to Level 2 in a relevant qualification or equivalent experience
  • Satisfactory DBS check upon appointment
