Independent Domestic Violence Advocate, Opportunity to Make a Difference. Are you a compassionate professional, dedicated to supporting survivors? Key, part of the DASSL (Domestic Abuse Support Services Lancashire) network of domestic abuse providers in Lancashire, is a leading charity delivering critical support and is seeking an exceptional Independent Domestic Violence Advocate to help transform lives and provide hope to those experiencing domestic abuse.

Job Responsibility

  • Providing trauma-informed specialist case management and advocacy to victims at medium and high risk of domestic abuse
  • Ensuring survivors of domestic abuse receive consistent, trauma-informed high-quality support
  • Ensuring families in crisis experience joined-up services that help them rebuild stability

Requirements

  • Confident in delivering high-quality case management and advocacy for individuals at medium and high risk of domestic abuse
  • Knowledgeable in risk assessment, safety planning, and multi-agency coordination
  • Passionate about empowering survivors and ensuring their voices are heard
  • Able to represent clients effectively at MARRAC and support their recovery within Key’s integrated domestic abuse services
  • Comfortable using digital tools to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively
  • Focused on delivering outcome-driven support with professionalism and attention to detail
  • A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is required
