Independent Domestic Violence Advocate (IDVA) - Female Only. Location: Coventry. Salary: £28,276 - £29,776 DOE. Hours: Full-time (37.5 hours, Mon-Fri + rota). About the Role: We are recruiting an IDVA to support individuals experiencing domestic abuse, honour-based abuse, and related risks. You'll manage a caseload, carry out risk assessments, create safety plans, and provide advocacy through multi-agency working (including MARAC).
Job Responsibility
Manage high/medium risk cases (80-100 annually)
Conduct risk assessments and safety planning
Provide crisis support and ongoing advocacy
Work with police, housing, and support services
Attend MARAC and multi-agency meetings
Maintain accurate case records
Requirements
Experience supporting domestic abuse survivors or vulnerable groups
Strong safeguarding knowledge
Experience in risk assessment and case management
Excellent communication and organisation skills
Fluent in English and at least one BAME/community language

MARAC experience
Driving licence
