Job Responsibility

Verify proper installation of process piping systems, utility piping systems, pumps and compressors, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, packaged equipment, valves and specialty items, pipe supports and hangers, HVAC mechanical systems, fuel, water, and utility systems
Verify welders possess current qualifications for assigned work
Confirm welding activities are performed in accordance with approved procedures
Monitor fit-up, welding, preheat, inter-pass temperature, post-weld activities, and bolted connections
Verify weld identification and traceability requirements
Review fabrication records and field welding documentation
Inspect incoming mechanical and piping materials
