Working as an Income Tax Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our direct tax team focusing on a variety of federal, state, and foreign income tax matters for world-wide locations. This position may offer a flexible schedule after a period of onboarding, training, and meeting performance goals.
Job Responsibility:
Managing the daily operations and development of the income tax team
Maintaining compliance with global income tax requirements, ASC 740, and other applicable international tax accounting standards
Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual global income tax provision, effective tax rate calculations, and related disclosures
Leading income tax research, planning, analysis, and documentation activities
Effectively communicating and providing guidance to foreign based accounting, tax, and administrative teams
Reviewing income tax returns prepared internally and by external tax advisors
Managing income tax examination activities
Processing and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities to include analytical review of corporate tax balances and developing, enhancing, reviewing, and approving tax related reconciliations
Identifying and implementing system and procedural enhancements and efficiencies, including an emphasis on results-driven project management
Performing special projects and other administrative tasks as necessary
Requirements:
Possess a degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field of study
Possess at least 5 years of related work experience
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Highly motivated, self directed and customer service oriented
Demonstrate strong math aptitude, attention to detail and sense of urgency
Work independently as well as in a team environment
Learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast paced environment
Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel
Exhibit strong problem solving, deductive reasoning and decision making skills

Nice to have:
Proficient using PeopleSoft
Possess experience with accounting for income taxes
Possess experience with large corporate income tax return or tax provision
