Job Responsibility

  • Prepare legal documents and represent Abri in court in support of possession of properties
  • Ensure income targets are consistently met, maximising income whilst delivering an exceptional customer service
  • Work with a range of stakeholders including DWP, local authorities, debt advice organisations and internal colleagues to make sure customers receive the support they need

Requirements

  • Access to your own vehicle with a full and valid driving license
  • An awareness of relevant housing legislation
  • Collaborative working and communication skills
  • Ability to deal with difficult, sensitive and challenging behaviour and situations in a calm and professional manner
  • Proactive in contacting customers who have fallen into rent arrears
  • Use initiative to problem solve when investigating circumstances and negotiate repayment agreements
  • Ability to identify the need to signpost to internal and external support
  • Comfortable to speak with customers over the telephone or face to face, in offices or in their homes
