Job Description:

Supports the execution of general ledger impacted processes during the night, including support to clients as they work with and understand these processes. Performs auditing and accounting functions specifically in the areas of account balancing, ledger reconciliation, reporting and discrepancy resolution.

Job Responsibility:

Coordinates and implements accounting work and projects
Coordinates, implements and follows up on Accounting SOP audits
Complies with Federal and State laws applying to fraud and collection procedures
Generates and provides accurate and timely reports
Analyzes information and evaluates results to choose solutions
Compiles, codes, categorizes, calculates, tabulates, audits information
Balances credit card ledgers
Verifies contracts for groups and performs credit reference checks
Ensures audits are completed correctly and on time
Posts all transactions regularly
Maintains accounting and operational control environment
Completes period end functions
Provides direction on accounting and budgeting policies

Requirements:

4-year bachelor's degree in Finance and Accounting or related major
OR 2-year degree from an accredited university in Finance and Accounting or related major with 1 year experience in finance and accounting
Knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes
Knowledge of return check procedures
Knowledge of the Gross Revenue Report
Knowledge and proficiency with write off procedures
Knowledge and proficiency with consolidated deposit procedures
Computer proficiency including financial spreadsheets
Effective listening skills
Personal integrity
Self confidence, energy and enthusiasm
Strong organizational skills
Problem solving methodology
