Job Description:

We’re looking for an Inclusive Quality and Curriculum Lead to champion accessible, equitable, and impactful learning for every apprentice. At HIT Training, inclusivity is at the heart of how we design, deliver, and support our programmes. In this key role, you’ll lead inclusive practices across our curriculum, ensuring all apprentices, especially those with SEND, from disadvantaged backgrounds, or facing barriers, can thrive. By working closely with curriculum teams and employers, you’ll enhance learner outcomes and drive progress in achievement and social mobility.

Job Responsibility:

  • Lead HIT Training’s inclusive learning strategy, ensuring alignment with Ofsted and ESFA requirements
  • Evaluate and improve inclusive teaching through shadowing, coaching, and feedback
  • Collaborate with Vocational Trainers to embed accessibility and progression into curriculum design
  • Oversee support planning, reasonable adjustments, and Access to Work processes
  • Deliver training and toolkits to promote inclusive practices
  • Monitor and report on inclusion KPIs, EDIMs, and learner outcomes
  • Champion inclusive careers education and support apprentices in overcoming barriers
  • Ensure compliance with awarding organisation policies and funding documentation
  • Advise on employer responsibilities under the Equality Act 2010
  • Support submissions for high-needs learners, including ILR and EAS processes

Requirements:

  • A Level 5+ teaching qualification (e.g. DTLLS, CertEd, PGCE)
  • Proven experience in SEND strategy, curriculum design, quality assurance, and impact reporting
  • Experience supporting post-16 learners and apprenticeships
  • Strong knowledge of ESFA funding rules and ILR compliance
  • Understanding of the Equality Act 2010 and reasonable adjustments
  • Familiarity with awarding organisation policies
  • Willingness to travel for shadowing and employer visits
