Job Responsibility

  • Work with schools, trusts, and other partner organisations to ensure inclusive practices enable children to access appropriate education
  • Champion children's rights to appropriate education
  • Support and advise senior leaders and staff to develop inclusive practice and environments
  • Undertake specific advice, guidance, and challenge for schools and trusts linked to Inclusion Framework, Schools' Bill, and Ofsted Framework
  • Work with schools/trusts and other professionals to address issues preventing access to education
  • Build strong 'high support high challenge' relationship with allocated schools
  • Undertake specific tasks relating to statutory areas including TSMs, exclusions, PTTT, 10-day absence
