Join Our Team as an Incident Manager. At Wilson James, we take immense pride in delivering top-notch services to our clients. We are actively searching for a highly skilled and experienced Incident Manager to join our dedicated team. This role involves the effective, day-to-day response to and management of safety and security incidents that may pose a risk to the employees of our client, one of the world's biggest tech companies based in King's Cross, or have the potential to negatively impact its day-to-day (business as usual) operation, its business interest and/or its reputation. This person will also be responsible for the overall operation and client experience provided by the country security operations centre. The position will provide a 24/7 Bronze (operational) cover within the security operation centre's incident management structure, referred to as “Gold-Silver-Bronze (Strategic-Tactical-Operational) Command.
Job Responsibility:
Provide expert guidance and oversight on operational resilience policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with the client's resilience framework and best practice standards
Capture lessons learned from table-top exercises, make clear recommendations, and drive the implementation of agreed actions
Communicate critical information effectively to risk owners and key stakeholders
Advise management on all security matters, including reviewing and enhancing security policies and procedures
Maintain a strong understanding of the client's core business activities to ensure the Security Operations Centre delivers the most effective security solutions and services
Lead and manage security personnel during incident response, ensuring professionalism, effectiveness, and continuous development of the team
Requirements:
Experience in successfully operating as part of and/or supervising/managing a team in a UK Emergency Services controlroom environment
Experience in managing incidents with multi agency involvement
Deliver excellent customer service
Business process mapping and risk assessment
Hands-on experience in incident and crisis management
Understanding of risk and information security control frameworks
SIA Licence
