Randstad Digital is looking for a 2nd Line Support & Incident Manager for a long-term consultant assignment with a global leader in the automotive industry. In this role, you will handle end-to-end vehicle connectivity, working across cloud backends, mobile networks and onboard vehicle systems. Your focus will be on troubleshooting complex service flows, leading incident response, and ensuring high availability for a global fleet of connected vehicles.
Job Responsibility:
Advanced Log Analysis: Troubleshooting end-to-end telematics flows to identify failures across ECUs, mobile networks, and cloud backends
Incident Leadership: Taking ownership of the incident lifecycle—from initial detection to final RCA and long-term fix implementation
Monitoring & Observability: Building and refining dashboards, alerts, and metrics to catch service degradations before they hit SLAs
AI-Driven Operations: Implementing AI-powered tools to speed up pattern detection and reduce resolution times (MTTR)
Stakeholder Management: Serving as the technical point of contact for customers and internal teams, providing clear and actionable updates
Connectivity Management: Working with MNO partners to resolve issues related to SIM provisioning and network roaming
Knowledge Sharing: Maintaining technical documentation, KBAs, and SOPs to support and upskill 1st line teams
Requirements:
Solid experience in 2nd line support, or a background as a Product Owner/Architect within Telematics or Connected Car environments
Hands-on experience querying and analyzing logs using tools like ELK, Loki, GCP Cloud Logging, or Splunk
Technical proficiency in SQL and Redis
Experience working in AWS or GCP environments, specifically with their monitoring and observability suites
A strong track record in Incident Management and leading Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
Professional fluency in English, both written and spoken
Nice to have:
Proficiency in Mandarin (a major plus for collaborating with global development teams)
Knowledge of MNO connectivity, including SIM lifecycles, APN, and roaming
Interest or experience in using AI/ML tools for log summarization, anomaly detection, or incident triage
