Job Description

This position is responsible for advanced operational commission and incentive related processing/payment, reporting, defect resolution, and innovative processing methodologies used to ensure accuracy and reduce payment error risks. This position is also responsible for examining customer needs and creating processes for designing and developing reports; creating project timelines and managing resources to successfully implement assigned projects; serve as liaison to technical and consultant staff on interpretation of system and report requirements, communication of data definitions, and managing integration of external vendor data and training / mentoring staff.

Job Responsibility

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree OR 4 years business experience
  • 5 years’ experience in SQL programming
  • 5 years’ experience developing reports with information systems to include analytical experience in querying data warehousing systems, Microsoft Access, Excel and other reporting systems
  • 5 years’ experience in a managed care environment
  • Leadership skills
  • Verbal and written communication skills including interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of data elements as it relates to data quality requirements
  • Data analysis skills including experience in independently assess, design, and implement reporting as well as assess the reasonableness of information
  • Project management skills and experience managing multiple large scale projects

Nice to have

  • Experience using membership and premium data
  • 5 years’ experience using an industry standard Incentive Compensation Management application
  • Experience analyzing complex business/systemic issues impacting the payment of a commission and/or sales incentive
  • 5 years’ experience using an industry standard ETL tool such as Toad. SAP BTP experience preferred
  • 5 years’ experience sales compensation modifications based on company and/or government regulated factors
