Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Member Services Manager, the Member Services Assistant provides follow-up calls and mailings to members regarding previous appointments; fills requests of members, and answers a high volume of internal calls. Creating Internal requests for further follow up, upon request. The Member Services Assistant is responsible for adding accurate notes for future follow-up by Signify health and/or Health Plans.

Job Responsibility:

Handles a high volume of inbound calls
Email, Fax, and/or Print and mail member requested results or forms
Handle any incoming mail
Provide backup coverage for the Member Services team
Responsible for follow-up on voicemails
Ability to work on any special project
Answer and follow up on all member inquiries in a timely fashion
Participate in staff meetings, conference calls, and other meetings as needed
Complete reports as requested by Supervisor
Assist/coach/coordinate with other team members

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years successful work experience in a related field
Prior experience in a fast paced customer service environment
Prior experience working in call center or inbound calls environment
Speak, read, and write English fluently
Good verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to prioritize and multitask
Advanced skills in Google Suites
Accurate data entry skills

Nice to have:

Some college preferred but not required

Discrete/ability to maintain confidentiality
Team player
Detail-oriented, catches errors early
Customer service oriented with a sense of urgency
Ability to work under pressure and independently
Ability to take direction
