Job Description:

Our client, a global apparel company, is looking for an Inbound Logistics Specialist to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office near Santa Monica. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain best practices, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered. Role Overview: Contract Role: 6 months Pay: $40-45/hr W2 (No C2C) Schedule: Hybrid, Tuesday through Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote

Job Responsibility:

  • Establish and manage new standard operating procedures for inbound logistics
  • Track inbound shipments from both domestic and offshore vendors
  • Resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain
  • Oversee the receipt and inspection of inbound goods
  • Ensure all inbound logistics activities comply with relevant regulations
  • Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related concentration
  • 3+ years of inbound logistics experience
  • Experience working within the retail, fashion, beauty, or consumer goods industries is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs processes
  • Offshore vendor management experience
  • Advanced Excel skills are required
  • Prior ERP system experience, Infor Nexus is preferred
