Our client, a global apparel company, is looking for an Inbound Logistics Specialist to join their team! This will be a hybrid role working out of their office near Santa Monica. The successful candidate will possess a strong understanding of supply chain best practices, excellent organizational and time management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Please no corp-to-corp applicants or third-party agencies. Sub-contracted candidates or candidates that require immediate sponsorship cannot be considered. Role Overview: Contract Role: 6 months Pay: $40-45/hr W2 (No C2C) Schedule: Hybrid, Tuesday through Thursday onsite, Monday & Friday remote
Job Responsibility:
Establish and manage new standard operating procedures for inbound logistics
Track inbound shipments from both domestic and offshore vendors
Resolve any issues or delays in the supply chain
Oversee the receipt and inspection of inbound goods
Ensure all inbound logistics activities comply with relevant regulations
Maintain accurate records of shipments and inventory
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related concentration
3+ years of inbound logistics experience
Experience working within the retail, fashion, beauty, or consumer goods industries is highly preferred
Knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs processes
Offshore vendor management experience
Advanced Excel skills are required
Prior ERP system experience, Infor Nexus is preferred
