Job Description

As an Inbound Technical Sales Specialist at NTT DATA, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and technical solutions. This full-time remote position requires a minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in a competitive environment. The role offers a pay rate of $16.20-$16.50 CAD per hour plus commission, with opportunities for growth and development. Job Responsibility

  • Handling Inbound client interactions to identify and solicit potential and existing clients to promote sales
  • Recommending the appropriate product or services by assessing clients' needs and resources while leveraging applicable promotions
  • Conducting Outbound calls to follow-up on client sale and inquiries as well as consulting with clients after sale to provide support and resolve issues
  • Provide technical solutions to clients where products or services must be tailored to suit their needs
  • Acquire and maintain technical knowledge of GFiber Internet solutions, IPTV and Home phone services provided through specialized training
  • Manage call flows, provide first call resolution, and satisfy client expectations
  • Leverage program tools and processes to illustrate benefits of the service and product offerings
  • Estimate cost of activation and maintenance to the equipment or service
  • Verify and update critical customer information by accessing client's database and customer resource management software
  • Review and compile competitors' activities and develop awareness of trends and potential markets
  • Accurately access customers information through the client's database to update and verify critical information
  • Provide ongoing technical support and resolution to any technical problems related to products and services
  • Maintaining technical knowledge about products and services to explain features and benefits to clients and answer any questions
  • Implement sales strategies to achieve personal and business goals
  • Conduct sales transactions through online e-commerce software
  • Offer feedback to management for methods of improving performance and results

Requirements

  • Sales experience is a must, preferred outside sales experience (field sales an asset)
  • Excels in a target-driven environment
  • Relentless in chasing sales success and motivated to perform in a competitive environment
  • Demonstrated success in a competitive sales environment
  • Experience in Customer Care, Retention is an asset
  • Strong ability to build rapport with customers
  • Ability to use sales scripting and dynamically adjusting to prospect needs
  • Familiarity with servicing customers in the United States an asset
  • Experience in telco or fiber internet sales an asset
  • The ability to navigate multiple computer systems
  • A flexible schedule (including evenings)
  • Power outlets for both a PC and Monitor
  • High Speed internet (10MB or greater)
  • A physical space where you can fit your PC and Monitor near a router or modem that is private and free of distraction
  • Ability to download and use the Google Authenticator app
  • Must have IOS 11 or Android version 10
