Job Description

We are seeking a motivated, meticulous, and conscientious candidate with hands-on in vivo laboratory experience to join our team. You will contribute to the discovery of therapeutic antibodies from natural immune repertoires, and through teamwork, innovation, and mutual support, together we tackle the most challenging scientific problems.

Job Responsibility

  • Performing daily health assessments, and reporting clinical observations to In Vivo Technicians
  • Handling and receiving animals into the facility, and performing cage changes
  • Organizing and preparing lab spaces, materials/consumables, and equipment for in vivo and ex vivo activities
  • Ensuring cleanliness of the animal facility, including cage cleaning and preparation as well as disposal of non-hazardous and hazardous waste
  • Organizing and performing sample shipments, keeping accurate records, and maintaining inventories
  • Maintaining a safe and productive work environment and lab facility, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Collaborating with teammates and supporting the team where needed

Requirements

  • Diploma or BSc in a relevant discipline, plus at least 1-2 years of experience working with animals, preferably in an in vivo research environment
  • ability to lift up to 25 kg
  • comfortable with long periods of standing and bending
  • ability to work at least one weekend day per week
