Job Description

The In Suite Dining Order Taker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking guest in-suite dining orders, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and coordinate deliver of orders, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

Job Responsibility

  • Accurately take food and beverage orders via phone or in-person
  • Record covers, handle special orders and check for out of stock items
  • Operate the computer system for order taking, check printing, closing out checks and printing reports
  • Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
  • Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including daily specials and menu ingredients
  • Handle billing and payment transactions efficiently and accurately

Requirements

  • A minimum of a high school or equivalent education
  • Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple orders and requests simultaneously without compromising service quality
  • Familiarity with POS systems and software applications for order processing and reporting
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
