The In Suite Dining Order Taker is responsible for providing exceptional customer service by taking guest in-suite dining orders, communicate special requests to the kitchen, and coordinate deliver of orders, ensuring a memorable dining experience.
Job Responsibility:
Accurately take food and beverage orders via phone or in-person
Record covers, handle special orders and check for out of stock items
Operate the computer system for order taking, check printing, closing out checks and printing reports
Coordinate with kitchen and service staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery
Maintain a thorough understanding of the menu, including daily specials and menu ingredients
Handle billing and payment transactions efficiently and accurately
Requirements:
A minimum of a high school or equivalent education
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple orders and requests simultaneously without compromising service quality
Familiarity with POS systems and software applications for order processing and reporting
Strong leadership and team management skills
