Strong mechanical aptitude for machine setup and basic troubleshooting
Excellent attention to detail for inspecting finished goods and identifying defects

Job Responsibility

Setting up, running, and adjusting packaging machines to ensure optimal performance
Reading job tickets to determine specific machine adjustments and material requirements for each run
Setting stops or guides to specified lengths as indicated by scales, rules, or templates
Monitoring machines during operation for any defects or malfunctions to prevent downtime
Inspecting finished goods for quality defects to ensure they meet company and SQF requirements
Performing basic troubleshooting and making necessary adjustments to equipment
Assisting coworkers with machine setup, stacking, marking, packing, and transporting finished products
Maintaining a clean and sanitized workspace, including cleaning equipment with alcohol
Complying strictly with all safety, GMP, and food safety requirements within your scope of work
