The In Room Dining Supervisor is responsible for serving guest needs by providing exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items as well as information regarding preparation methods.
Job Responsibility:
Manage the daily operations of In Room Dining to ensure compliance with policies, procedures, standards and aim at satisfying and exceeding guests’ expectations
Assign duties to reporting subordinates and constantly inspect all areas to ensure all guest service areas as well as supporting areas are cleaned and completed
Supervise, manage and maintain both front and back of the house area to ensure that it is up to standard
Motivate staff to excellent performance and enforce discipline when required
Take orders for guests and serve all food and beverage requests, using suggestive selling techniques
Clear In Room Dining trolleys during service, control guest checks and secure proper payment using prescribed cash handling procedures
Handle guests in the event of complaint in accordance to establish procedures and report to manager on duty without delay for handling
Complies with Four Seasons’ Category One and Category Two Work Rules and Standards of Conduct as set forth in EmPact
Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
Requirements:
A minimum of a high school or equivalent education
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in Cantonese, Mandarin and English
Relevant experience in a similar role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with POS systems and software applications for order processing and reporting
Strong leadership and team management skills
