Job Description:

We are seeking an attentive and courteous In Room Dining Server to join our team at The Sebastian Vail. This role requires a diligent individual who is committed to providing exceptional service directly to our guests in the comfort of their rooms. Job Responsibility:

  • Deliver room service orders promptly and accurately to guests, ensuring all items are correctly prepared and presented
  • Maintain knowledge of menu items, ingredients, and preparation methods to answer guest inquiries confidently
  • Set up in-room dining tables following hotel standards, ensuring cleanliness and presentation excellence
  • Collaborate with the culinary and front desk teams to ensure seamless service and timely delivery
  • Address guest requests and inquiries courteously and efficiently
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety guidelines and hotel policies
  • Perform cleanup duties and return equipment to designated locations after service
  • Provide input to improve service and operations within room service

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a hotel or restaurant setting preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays
  • Physical ability to lift trays and push carts
  • A positive and professional demeanor
