The In-Room Dining (IRD) Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the In-Room Dining department, ensuring the delivery of exceptional, personalized, and timely food and beverage service to guests in their rooms and suites. This role requires strong leadership, operational expertise, and a commitment to maintaining the highest Four Seasons standards while creating memorable in-room dining experiences.
Job Responsibility:
Manage and oversee all In-Room Dining operations, ensuring seamless service delivery in line with Four Seasons standards
Lead, train, schedule, and motivate the IRD team to deliver consistently high levels of service and professionalism
Ensure all IRD orders are executed accurately, efficiently, and within established service time standards
Maintain thorough knowledge of menus, beverage offerings, dietary requirements, and service styles
Collaborate closely with the Culinary, Stewarding, and Food & Beverage leadership teams to ensure flawless execution
Monitor guest feedback and proactively address concerns to ensure guest satisfaction and service recovery when needed
Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and food handling regulations at all times
Oversee inventory control, ordering, cost management, and waste reduction within the IRD department
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, organization, and presentation in IRD service areas and back-of-house spaces
Assist in developing service standards, procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives for In-Room Dining
Prepare schedules, manage payroll inputs, and ensure appropriate staffing levels based on occupancy and demand
Requirements:
Minimum three to five years of experience in Food & Beverage operations, with prior In-Room Dining or leadership experience preferred
Proven ability to lead and develop teams in a luxury hotel or resort environment
Strong organizational and time-management skills with attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and luxury service expectations
Experience using F&B systems and POS platforms
A polished and professional appearance aligned with luxury brand standards
Flexibility to work varying schedules, including early mornings, late evenings, weekends, and holidays
Hospitality Management or related professional qualification preferred
Spanish and English required
