In Room Dining Coordinator

• Answer telephone and take food and beverage orders for in-room dining
• Maintain exceptional knowledge of food & beverage menu items and preparation methods
• Describe the selection of food & beverage menu items to guests by offering interesting, and vivid descriptions of the each item’s, origin, taste, and preparation methods
• Monitor mobile platforms and reply to guest inquiries in a timely manner
• Communicate guest orders including any special needs or requests to the kitchen using the hotel’s point-of-sales system
• Coordinate delivery of items to the room by In Room Dining Servers
• Properly and accurately close guest checks
• record guest charges and gratuities
• Anticipate guest needs, ascertain satisfaction, and offer suggestions, and respond urgently and appropriately to guest concerns and requests
• Coordinate amenity deliver by ensuring that all requests are received, filed, ordered from kitchen and delivered

• At least 1 years of food and beverage service or coordinator/logistics experience, preferably in a luxury hotel or resort
• Excellent personal presentation and interpersonal skills
• Strong time management skills: ability to multi-task, set priorities, and adjust to changing conditions
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to operate all computer equipment necessary to perform the job
• knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Opera and Micros POS preferred/is a plus
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• ability to work closely with other departments and communicate clearly and effectively with colleagues and guests
• Ability to lift, carry, and move up to 30 lbs
• US work authorization is required
