In Room Dining Assistant Manager

• Select, train, evaluate, lead, motivate, coach, and discipline all employees in the Hotel’s Room Service Department
• Be visible in the operation, provide recognition, promote good public relations, and handle complaints, concerns or special requests for guests, clients, and group contacts
• Describe and ensure quality of all food items, ingredients, and preparation methods
• Provide knowledge of wine and spirits
• Control labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, purchasing decisions, and inventory and control
• Attend regular operational meetings to ensure effective coordination and cooperation between departments
• Observe the physical condition of facilities and equipment in the outlet and make recommendations for corrections and improvements as needed
• Monitor phones, orders, deliveries and pickups to ensure guest satisfaction and employee support
• Review and approve any comp or voids to ensure accuracy and ensures all glitches are posted accurately and timely

• Minimum 2+ year previous experience in a food and beverage environment
• Experience in a luxury hotel setting preferred
• Excellent leadership skills
• Ability to motivate and challenge a diverse team
• Knowledge of food & beverage service and supervisory experience preferred
• Proficient in computer systems
• Good communication skills
• Fluency in English
• Current work authorization in the United States
• Ability to speak Spanish preferred
