At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in The World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a dedicated In-Room Dining Assistant Manager to support and elevate our private dining operations. This is a full-time, permanent position designed for a hospitality professional who excels in delivering ultra-luxury service within the most intimate of guest settings.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support the In-Room Dining Manager in overseeing the daily operation of 24-hour in-room dining and private bar services
  • Assist in selecting, training, motivating, coaching, and disciplining employees to ensure cultural and core standards are consistently met
  • Help plan schedules and ensure high employee performance and operational efficiency
  • Supervise service delivery within guest rooms, ensuring attractive presentations and non-obtrusive, personalized service
  • Ensure age-appropriate private bar setups and creative, refined guest room amenities
  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally, promoting strong guest relations and loyalty
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of food items, preparation methods, wine, and spirits to support an attentive and distinctive guest experience
  • Work closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, Executive Chef, and Sous Chefs to ensure excellent product quality and effective interdepartmental coordination
  • Assist in controlling labor and operating expenses through effective scheduling, budgeting, purchasing, and inventory management
  • Conduct spot checks on private bar setups and amenity deliveries, ensuring quality assurance and continuous improvement
  • Monitor the physical condition of equipment and facilities in guest rooms and report improvement recommendations when necessary

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or Assistant Manager role within Food & Beverage, preferably in luxury hospitality
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and team motivation skills
  • Excellent communication abilities and guest-focused mindset
  • Fluency in English is essential
