Job Description:

The position of intern at Anderson Merchandisers is intended to be a learning experience for the selected intern and a teaching/training opportunity for the department(s) to which the intern is assigned.

Job Responsibility:

  • Support department-specific projects by conducting research, compiling reports, and organizing project materials
  • Participate in team meetings, take notes, and track follow-up actions
  • Help prepare presentations, dashboards, and other internal communication materials
  • Maintain organized records and ensure accurate handling of confidential information
  • Shadow team members to learn about departmental workflows and organizational processes
  • Collaborate with colleagues to identify process improvements or opportunities for efficiency
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs

Requirements:

  • Current student or recent graduate pursuing a degree
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and stay organized
  • A willingness to learn, ask questions, and take initiative
  • Professional demeanor and ability to work effectively in an office environment
