Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented In-House Service Specialist 1 / Field Action Remediation Specialist to support remote software and firmware deployments, device configuration, and remediation activities in an FDA-regulated environment. This is a remote, night-shift role supporting US-based customers during scheduled downtime.

Job Responsibility

  • Perform remote software and firmware deployments
  • Configure and manage devices using RSS
  • Execute remediation activities in compliance with FDA regulations
  • Troubleshoot technical issues across applications and systems
  • Work with Windows OS, Active Directory, and domain security
  • Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up on remediation actions
  • Deliver excellent customer service while working independently
  • Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of applied, hands-on technical experience (required)
  • 3–5 years of service experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems (preferred)
  • Experience working in FDA-regulated environments (preferred)
  • Remote software & firmware deployment
  • Windows OS, Active Directory, domain security
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Remote access tools
  • Cloud computing, SQL (preferred)
  • Windows / Unix / Linux environments
  • Strong documentation and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently during night shifts
  • High School Diploma (minimum requirement)
  • Computer Science, Technology, Healthcare-related education or equivalent work experience
  • Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
  • Comfortable working 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM PST
  • Ability to pass a 9-panel drug test
  • Must be authorized to work in the USA
  • Video or onsite interviews required

Nice to have

  • 3–5 years of service experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems
  • Experience working in FDA-regulated environments
  • Cloud computing, SQL

  • Performs data entry of participant information, diagnostic orders, test results and data PACE information per established procedures
