We are seeking a detail-oriented In-House Service Specialist 1 / Field Action Remediation Specialist to support remote software and firmware deployments, device configuration, and remediation activities in an FDA-regulated environment. This is a remote, night-shift role supporting US-based customers during scheduled downtime.
Job Responsibility:
Perform remote software and firmware deployments
Configure and manage devices using RSS
Execute remediation activities in compliance with FDA regulations
Troubleshoot technical issues across applications and systems
Work with Windows OS, Active Directory, and domain security
Maintain accurate documentation and follow-up on remediation actions
Deliver excellent customer service while working independently
Manage multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
Requirements:
2–3 years of applied, hands-on technical experience (required)
3–5 years of service experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems (preferred)
Experience working in FDA-regulated environments (preferred)
Remote software & firmware deployment
Windows OS, Active Directory, domain security
Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Remote access tools
Cloud computing, SQL (preferred)
Windows / Unix / Linux environments
Strong documentation and communication skills
Ability to work independently during night shifts
High School Diploma (minimum requirement)
Computer Science, Technology, Healthcare-related education or equivalent work experience
Proficiency in English (read, write, speak)
Comfortable working 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM PST
Ability to pass a 9-panel drug test
Must be authorized to work in the USA
Video or onsite interviews required
Nice to have:
3–5 years of service experience in troubleshooting and repair of electronic systems
