Job Description:

Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced litigation paralegal to support our client’s internal legal department. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with attorneys on active matters while also helping manage day-to-day legal operations. The position is ideal for someone who enjoys ownership of responsibilities, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable serving as a key operational partner to legal leadership. The organization is frequently involved in disputes in a non-primary party capacity, resulting in consistent exposure to hearings, arbitrations, and discovery activity without the intensity of large-scale trial preparation.

  • Assist with collection, organization, and review of records for matters
  • Coordinate case materials for hearings, mediations, and arbitration proceedings
  • Track deadlines and maintain litigation calendars
  • Work with outside counsel on case support and document exchange
  • Maintain organized matter files and internal records
  • Help coordinate legal department workflows and processes
  • Serve as a primary administrative and operational support partner to attorneys
  • Communicate with internal stakeholders regarding document requests and legal matters
  • Evaluate and implement tools to improve legal workflow efficiency
  • Assist with adoption of new platforms and document management systems
  • Support modernization of internal procedures and record-keeping processes

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience (law firm or in-house)
  • Strong familiarity with discovery procedures and civil litigation workflow
  • Experience handling subpoenas and document requests
  • Comfortable coordinating with outside counsel and multiple stakeholders
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
  • Confident with technology and open to learning new systems
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
