Robert Half Legal is partnering with an established manufacturer in Chatsworth in its search for an In-House Litigation Paralegal for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This hybrid role requires 2–3 days onsite per week and offers the opportunity to support an in-house legal team on a range of litigation matters.
Job Responsibility:
Provide litigation support and day-to-day case management, including administrative support for active matters
Prepare, organize, and maintain case files, pleadings, correspondence, discovery indexes, and related litigation documents
File court and related documents in state and federal courts and monitor applicable deadlines, hearings, and calendaring requirements
Manage all phases of discovery and e-discovery, including document review coordination, deposition summaries, privilege logs, and preparation of briefs, appendices, and exhibits
Create, update, and maintain templates for pleadings, discovery responses, briefs, and other standard litigation documents
Partner closely with internal legal stakeholders and outside counsel to ensure matters are moving forward efficiently and deadlines are met
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree preferred
ABA-approved Paralegal certificate required
5+ years of trial and litigation paralegal experience
Strong knowledge of motions, discovery, court rules, and filing procedures
Experience with state and federal court filing procedures and local rules
Familiarity with Relativity or similar litigation support software
Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines effectively
