Job Responsibility

Oversee a portfolio of civil matters from initial assessment through final resolution, including contractor bond claims, bodily injury disputes, property damage cases, and related defense work
Analyze legal exposure, damages, and case risks to build strategic action plans that balance efficiency with favorable outcomes
Prepare and answer litigation documents such as complaints, motions, discovery materials, subpoenas, and other case filings
Research statutes, regulations, and case law, then translate findings into clear legal guidance on liability, damages, coverage, and compliance issues
Advocate for the company during hearings, case conferences, mediations, arbitrations, depositions, and other formal proceedings
Work closely with outside counsel, adjusters, investigators, consultants, and internal stakeholders to shape litigation strategy and evaluate resolution options
Lead settlement discussions and support alternative dispute resolution efforts aimed at resolving claims effectively
Track case activity, maintain timely status updates, and report on exposure assessments, strategy changes, and significant developments
