Job Responsibility
Prepare, review, and revise a wide range of commercial agreements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and legal protection for the organization
Lead contract discussions with external parties and internal stakeholders, working to achieve terms that align with business objectives and risk standards
Advise teams on corporate law issues that affect daily operations, strategic initiatives, and contractual obligations
Identify legal, commercial, and operational risks within proposed agreements and recommend practical alternatives to address concerns
Partner with business leaders to interpret contractual language, clarify obligations, and support informed decision-making
Support the development and refinement of contract templates, clause libraries, and related legal documentation processes as needed
Ensure agreements and related practices remain aligned with applicable laws, regulatory expectations, and company policies
Requirements
Licensed attorney in good standing with the ability to provide legal support in a corporate or commercial environment
Demonstrated experience handling commercial contracts from drafting through negotiation and execution
Strong working knowledge of corporate law and its application to business transactions and operational matters
Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
