Job Responsibility

  • Prepare, review, and revise a wide range of commercial agreements to ensure accuracy, consistency, and legal protection for the organization
  • Lead contract discussions with external parties and internal stakeholders, working to achieve terms that align with business objectives and risk standards
  • Advise teams on corporate law issues that affect daily operations, strategic initiatives, and contractual obligations
  • Identify legal, commercial, and operational risks within proposed agreements and recommend practical alternatives to address concerns
  • Partner with business leaders to interpret contractual language, clarify obligations, and support informed decision-making
  • Support the development and refinement of contract templates, clause libraries, and related legal documentation processes as needed
  • Ensure agreements and related practices remain aligned with applicable laws, regulatory expectations, and company policies

Requirements

  • Licensed attorney in good standing with the ability to provide legal support in a corporate or commercial environment
  • Demonstrated experience handling commercial contracts from drafting through negotiation and execution
  • Strong working knowledge of corporate law and its application to business transactions and operational matters
  • Ability to translate complex legal concepts into clear, practical guidance for non-legal stakeholders
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of attention to detail
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced setting
