Job Description

Beacon Hill’s client is seeking an experienced and highly organized Corporate Paralegal to join its in-house legal team. This role is ideal for a confident professional who thrives in a fast-paced corporate environment and can serve as a trusted partner within a busy legal department. The ideal candidate will be a proactive issue spotter with strong communication skills and the ability to manage a variety of legal and corporate matters independently.

Job Responsibility

  • Support a busy in-house legal department with a wide range of corporate and legal matters
  • Prepare and manage legal filings, corporate records, and related documentation
  • Assist with litigation holds, due diligence requests, and corporate filings
  • Identify potential legal or procedural issues and escalate appropriately
  • Communicate directly with internal clients and business stakeholders regarding legal matters and documentation
  • Maintain organized records and ensure timely handling of legal requests and deadlines
  • Coordinate with internal departments and outside counsel as needed
  • Provide general administrative and operational support to the legal team

Requirements

  • Prior experience working within a busy in-house legal department is required
  • Strong familiarity with legal filings, litigation holds, due diligence, and corporate filings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Confident, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to identify issues and think critically through legal and operational matters
