Job Description:

Invacare is a proud supplier of mobility and medical equipment. Our In-Field Customer Service (Drivers/Equipment Installer) team are Invacare's front-line link to our Rentals customers. You will be an energetic, people person with a strong desire to help others.

Job Responsibility:

  • Ensure that our Invacare equipment is correctly delivered and installed into patients' homes
  • Uninstall and collect our equipment delivering it back to our base in Mount Wellington

Requirements:

  • The ability to cope well under pressure and to be patience
  • To be reliable and organised
  • To be willing to get Hep A & B vaccinations
  • Great physical fitness – this role can be physically demanding and involves heavy lifting
  • Exceptional customer service skills
  • To be able to pass a criminal conviction check and drug and alcohol testing
  • The ability to work as one team
  • Someone who has resilience, empathy, and compassion
  • You will also need to know your way around Auckland

  • Oversee the resolution of field-based issues impacting live customer connections, acting as a technical escalation point within the team
  • Manage stakeholder interactions on-site, particularly in sensitive or high-impact locations, advising on solutions that meet engineering and customer standards
  • Scope and validate ECCs (Excess Construction Charges), ensuring high accuracy and completeness in support of the planning and commercial teams
  • Prove the fluidity of proposed overhead and underground routes by validating continuity, access, and constructability for planned connections and build. This includes planning for duct provision through test rods and ropes (TRR), verifying requirements, resolving line-of-sight (LOS) issues for overhead deployment, and locating and resolving network issues (faults)
  • Confirm that all planned infrastructure has the appropriate permissions and consents in place, including wayleave and permit-to-work (PTW) requirements, and progress relevant documentation to the appropriate department for resolution or approval
  • Collaborate with contractors, planners, and internal teams to ensure infrastructure proposals are deliverable, scalable, and meet field-readiness standards
