Job Description:

The In Business Risk and Control position sits within the Fixed Income and Commodities Operations team and requires a strategic professional monitoring developments in their field to contribute to the strategic direction of the team. The role focuses on governance, control framework implementation, issue resolution, risk management, and collaboration across stakeholders.

Job Responsibility:

Supporting the execution of Manager Control Assessments (MCA), ensuring quality, completeness, and accuracy of the Control Framework implementation, including Risk Control Policy, Control Standard, Issue Management Policy, Lesson Learned Policy, and Control Inventory
Performing root cause analysis of identified issues, partnering with control and process owners to develop corrective actions, and ensuring appropriate escalation according to policy
Supporting Operational and Compliance Risk management, analysing risk exposures across various categories (Operational, Compliance, Strategic, Reputational), and monitoring/assessing exposures against Risk Appetite
Contributing to risk assessments for new activities and business changes
Contributing to the design, implementation, and maintenance of the Organization's Governance framework, including policy documents, training, and communication
Working with various stakeholders across different levels, coordinating risk and control responsibilities, and providing training.

Requirements:

Developed skills to guide, influence, and convince colleagues and stakeholders
Recognized authority in a specific area within the business
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Basic understanding of business principles and practices
Ability to produce complex deliverables with significant impact on the business area
Provides advice and counsel related to business technology or operations
